Whole-Home Interior Painting — Springer Ln, Austin, TX 78758

An extensive whole-home repaint with a custom eight-color palette, cabinet refinishing, and exterior doors.

Project Summary

This Austin, TX 78758 project brought an extensive whole-home interior repaint to a house on Springer Ln, with a custom eight-color palette applied across bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen, living and dining areas, a sun room, and an office.

The primary bedroom was refreshed in a soft Gray Screen with a Web Gray accent wall and crown molding detail, while other rooms received their own distinct colors — from Indigo and Obstinate Orange in a second bedroom to Bathe Blue in the kitchen and dining area. The project also included spray-painting the kitchen and both bathroom cabinets in Network Gray, plus repainting the front and back doors and two exterior garage doors.

Scope of Work

Materials & Process

Walls were repainted with an upgraded Sherwin-Williams Emerald in a satin finish, using a custom eight-color scheme: Extra White, Bathe Blue, Alyssum, Indigo, Obstinate Orange, Gray Screen, Web Gray, Tangerine, Cay, and Rapture Blue across different rooms. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets were sprayed in Network Gray, exterior front and back doors in Briny, and garage doors in Software, both in satin. Trim and doors throughout were finished in Extra White semi-gloss.

Cabinet work included degreasing, sanding, priming, spraying, and reinstalling hardware for both the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Before painting, floors and furniture were covered and protected, cracks and nail holes were caulked and filled, and glossy surfaces and trim were sanded and cleaned.
