Project Summary
This project was a complete interior repaint of a two-suite medical and surgical office on Medical Pkwy in Austin, TX 78705. The practice needed its patient-facing spaces — reception, waiting areas, and check-in — along with exam rooms, procedure rooms, physician offices, and connecting hallways brought up to a clean, modern look while the office stayed open and operating.
Hill Country Painting's crew worked through the space suite by suite, repainting walls, door frames, and baseboards, and moving from warm tan and sage tones into a bright, consistent white palette across both suites. Cabinetry, fixtures, and equipment throughout the practice were protected and left untouched.
Scope of Work
- Front and back reception / check-in areas
- Two waiting room areas (left and right)
- Hallways connecting reception to exam rooms, procedure rooms, and the scheduling office
- Multiple procedure rooms and physician exam rooms
- Physician private offices (4)
- Scheduling offices (2)
- Restrooms (3)
- Suite 130: reception, sitting area, hallway, product room, break room, and 9 individual rooms
Materials & Process
Walls throughout both suites were painted in Sherwin-Williams Cashmere (or Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec, depending on area), moving the practice from a mix of sage green and warm tan tones to a consistent bright white. Ceilings used Sherwin-Williams ProMar 200 / Benjamin Moore Super Hide in flat white, and all door frames, baseboards, and trim were finished in Sherwin-Williams ProClassic / Benjamin Moore Scuff-X in semi-gloss white.
Preparation included covering and protecting all floors, furniture, and equipment with drop cloths and plastic sheeting, and caulking and filling nail holes and cracks prior to painting. A final walkthrough was performed with the office to confirm coverage and address any touch-ups.
