Materials & Process

The home's stucco and siding were finished in an upgraded Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint / Emerald system over Loxon Primer and DTM (Direct-to-Metal) coatings, in a flat sheen across four coordinated exterior tones. The courtyard entry door and porch ceilings were finished in Woodscapes solid stain rather than paint, to preserve a natural wood look. Wall heights on this home reach up to 50 feet.

Preparation included a full power wash prior to painting, caulking of wood-to-wood joints and holes, scraping or sanding of any loose or flaking paint, and masking and protection of stone, iron railings, and surfaces that were not being painted.
