Materials & Process
Exterior wood surfaces, doors, and trim were power washed, scraped and sanded to remove loose or flaking paint, and had rotted or damaged wood sections repaired prior to priming and topcoat. The building's facades and awning ironwork were finished using Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint and Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec exterior products across four coordinated colors, at heights of up to 18 feet along the storefront front elevations.
All wood-to-wood joints were caulked and surfaces not being painted were masked and protected throughout the project.
