Project Summary

This Austin, TX 78744 project gave a beige-and-cream home on Yokohama Terrace a bold, modern makeover, repainting the siding a deep navy-blue across all four sides of the house and the garage stucco accent a rich charcoal gray.

Materials & Process

Siding, stucco, trim, soffit and fascia, the garage door, and porch columns were repainted using Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint and Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec Exterior, applied in up to two coats for full, even coverage.

Before painting, the exterior was power washed, wood-to-wood joints were caulked, any loose or flaking paint was scraped or sanded, and surfaces not being painted were masked and protected throughout the project.
