Cabinet doors and drawers in the kitchen and three bathrooms were professionally refinished on their outward-facing surfaces.

Before painting, floors and furniture were covered and protected with drop cloths and plastic sheeting, cracks and nail holes were caulked and filled, and glossy surfaces and trim were sanded and cleaned to ensure proper paint adhesion.
